Vancouver--Still?

Yes, I know, I missed a couple of days but I've been hittin' the sack pretty late so no blog updates--until today!! (And did you notice the patriotic color change to my blog?) Here's a photo of Carrie, Laura and Mike--part of the U.S. staff and funny, funny people.

In this picture we have, Fikre (who helped repair my ripped up heels today), Olympian Brian Hansen and Olympic gold medalist Derek Parra. We usually spend anywhere from 2-6 hours at the oval each day--and then I get to walk back to my hotel and get to work.

I walk past two interesting art pieces each morning on my way to the oval. The first is "Miss Mao setting to poise herself on the top of Lenin's head." Okay.

The second piece of "art" is the Vancouver logo (the inukshuk) made out of rail crates. What do you think?
The rest of my day today consists of dinner (hopefully), a press officer photo at the press center (yuck) and a meeting with NBC so they can tell us they own EVERYTHING coming out of the Games.
Yesterday I was able to watch the Superbowl at the Team USA house. They had good food and it was fun hanging with other USOC people. LOTS of walking. LOTS of phone calls from press people. A long track press conference. And a fun stroll in downtown Vancouver. That's it for today! Miss you all!
